About Lilah Faye
Lilah grew up inside his own imagination, making up creatures and stories under the confines of a quilt covered pillow fort. His artistic drive was spurred by the many art projects he made with his mom as a child.
As a teenager, Lilah became infatuated with tiny details, shiny things, pretty fonts, and modern design. Still, nostalgia influenced the direction his art took. As opposed to the strictly creature based approach he took as a child, he started working more on people, and worlds. He began taking in the world around him and manipulating it to create illustrations that feel like a little bit old with a little bit of new.
His work is often inspired by dreams, music his mother listened to when he was little, tiny landscapes, and the paintings found on the third level of his house.
Lilah is currently a graphic design major at the Kansas City Art Institute.
